http://wiki.python.org/moin/PythonInMusic has a bunch of music related python links. PySndObj looks like it might be of use for generating sounds for the notes.

Right now, the wav files I am using for the note sounds are very, very poor quality. I recorded them with my Vaio's mic and a piano. So, if anyone has, or would like to record, some nice notes (just one chromatic octave, a to g) in wav format, I would be eternally grateful.

It's coming along nicely, though It runs much nicer on my 810, and it's look pretty, too!
Lookee, Aisu, I have a top of the line Yamaha U1 upright, and the tuner man (blind Sri-Lankan ear-tuner) is coming tomorrow at 2 in the afternoon.

I will record you some nice notes, chromatic, a-g, in 3 sets- soft (piano), medium (mezzo) and loud (forte).

wait it out if you might, because it is a sweet sounding instrument when freshly tuned!

Thanks a lot, dcarter, and everyone else! Much appreciated (I will check the tuner site out!) I'll be working on this more tomorrow, I hope, and I'm aiming to put a new vid out

Awesome, so how if you have the flash file saved (.swf), how do you open it? With the browser or something? Could you PM me the file please?

Thanks.
