Yes, don told me via PM that buttons have no effect.
From the source code I don't see the F6/F7/F8 so it looks like I'll have to recode it...

For the menu, try to reboot. Maybe it will appear. Usually packages will update the menu after installation but sometimes the update doesn't work.
At boot, the update-menu is run so it should create the entry.
If after a reboot, it's still not present then it's a bug.

Could be that my repo is suffering too much downloads..
You'll have to retry several times.
For some it works, for others, it's a pain..

In the worst case, you can try from command line in xterm (this has a lot more chance to succeed)
sudo gainroot
apt-get install leafpad <-- redo this step until it succeeds

Ok, it finally worked via app manager after many attempts, once installed rebooting device ensures leafpad icon is available via extras menu. thanks!

You can go to full-screen mode from the Hildon menu, but once you are full-screen then you have to use the menu hardware button to get a menu back up to get out of full-screen mode.

Ok, I have the debfarm repo enabled. It does not show up in my app manager and if I type in "apt-get install leafpad":
E: Couldn't find package leafpad
I browsed the repo manually through firefox on my computer and I cannot find the leafpad deb there either.

Any way of me getting the OS2008 version please?

Thanks & Best Regards.

Yes because I have removed it. Poor quality if I remember.. Well, that's my opinion. I'll put it back in a minute, try it and see..

Wasn' t there somebody else working on leafpad?

Hum I have version 0.8.10 and 0.8.9-2.
I think 0.8.10 contains hildonization.
As a repository can only reference one version, it will be the 0.8.10.
But if you want to give a try to the 0.8.9-2, click here:

I searched (albeit on the IT) and only your package came up.

Thanks

Thanks for this.

It has a nice icon in the app manager, but then no icon in my app list. Too bad...the little green leaf would look good in the simple launcher desktop applet.
