Wikis and forums are communities that, largely, create themselves in the finest sense of "if you build it, they will come." A forum was built, and we flocked from a wiki to it.

Again, I'm not trying to propose a long-term solution here. I'm not trying to say that the wiki isn't a valuable long-term asset. I just want the effort that's already focused on the forums to be more valuable.

Create a sticky "Using the Wiki" - posting once instead of dozens of times.

One other thing that may help a little: place the wiki icon to the left of the forum icon on the main page. A small thing, but psychologically significant.

I thought that a 'for the wiki' button on forum posts to tag useful how-to's for future wiki-inclusion was a good idea. Then a team of wiki writers could incorporate it into the wiki. There were no comments on this idea when I originally proposed it a few days ago, but I'll throw it out there again.
