Also, maybe I missed something, but what's the point of having a powerpoint compatible program...on a machine with no video out?

Trying to make Open Office perform adequately on this hardware is a waste of time. What does it give us that abiword and gnumeric can't? Do you really think it's worth the effort to make open office compile, knowing in advance that it will never fit in with the look and feel of hildon/maemo and that it will require anyone who uses it to make a swap file on their memory card? Also, maybe I missed something, but what's the point of having a powerpoint compatible program...on a machine with no video out?

Ditto, the only downside is that you need to be online to use it. Since I connect via HSDPA (on my E51 over BT), I'm only unable to use this when I'm out of mobile coverage. Works well too, and I have hundreds of files on my Google Docs account, and it beats having that suck up space on my N800
