Let me be honest. I hate every member of the 1986 Bears team. They were arrogant and in your face. And I can see how many people would feel the same way about the Patriots this year (although they were no where near as arrogant). There was a sense of entitlement, and the media treated Tom Brady like he was Madonna's twin sister.

But considering the years we have gone through (my whole life until recently) with the Pats always losing, to have them be this close to a RECORD (caps for enunciation, not for yelling) it really was amazing.

I'm happy for the Manning family, and for folks in upstate New York (and I rooted for the Colts last year because they were such a great team) but hating on the Pats when you know some of us root for them isn't nice.

Just to be clear, I'm not crying, and it was a good game, and the Giants deserved the win, and you weren't harsh, but there seems to be a lot of acrimony against the Pats and I think a more historical perspective would help clear it up.
