Ehh... I dunno. I think the old one runs if it has accounts configured. I still have not figured out the way modest reappears in the background, but it does ( most of the time ).

Is it just Googlemail / Gmail which does not work with IMAP on the default client?

I cant seem to install this on my brand new 810N. After it downloads it gives me the warning "Cannot install due to the fact some application packages required for the installation are missing"
anyone know what to do?

Version should be 4.2008.23-14 or more.

ok i look to be version 1.2007.42-19
it does say Internet Tablet OS: Maemo Linux based OS2008 above that though
where do I update?

So, you better reflassh to Diablo and you'll get Modest with it

OK, I reflashed and installed the latest OS. I set up my gmail for Imap and now the mail app crashes everytime I start it 
I cant fig out how to delete my settings and try to start over.
