Can anyone help me with some asterisk specifics? I have tried enabling h263, and enabling video in the sip.conf file but nothing seems to work. I've tested this with two N800's on the same LAN, both connecting to my asterisk box. Both register, both can dial each other. But video never comes up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Edited to add my sip.conf

[general]
videosupport=yes
maxcallbitrate=384

allow=h261
allow=h263
allow=h263p
allow=h264

I use sip_custom.conf without the general heading but those settings work for me. Did you restart the asterisk deamon (amportal restart)?

Yeah, I tried sticking it in the sip_custom.conf without the heading as well. Restarted asterisk several times. Still no joy. Ekiga doesn't show any video, and I have two N800's calling each other and video doesn't show up there anyway.

Where would I look for debug info that might indicate where the codecs are failing?

Ok, I finally got it. I had to go into the actual extension, and add the codec's. Once I did that, I was able to get the two N800's to display video to each other!

Thanks for the suggestion!
