I spent maybe 30 hours on YouTube watching and rewatching over 100 videos about the N800 before I ordered my N800 and while I waited the 6 days for it to be delivered on January 7th 2008.

Neoncherry has an awesome website with many video tutorials devoted to teaching all about the N8x0: http://tabletschool.blogspot.com/ (Click here to view a full listing of all our tutorials organised by category)

Here's one about the Application Manager: Nokia N800: Finding and installing new applications and games

No problem pointing them out. Neoncherry did an unbelievable job. I just watched a tutorial on saving battery power and learned what offline mode was.

By the way, these would all work with an ROM, right? Nothing special?

Yes, I believe most game emulators require a ROM file.

Occassionally an emulator might need you to install some extra package (SDL, GTK+, etc.), but it should be taken care of automatically by the Application Manager.
