There is a german online shop carrying all kinds of replacement parts for the N800
At least if you are living in Europe or another place to which the shipping is not too expensive this might be an option.

They are definitely meant to have two in the packet, I've used three tablets (two N800s and an N810) and they all had two styluses in the package.

It would be great if there were some (possibly third-party) metal styluses for the ITs. The third-party solid metal stylus for my Tapwave Zodiac is a big improvement over the flimsy thing that came with it.

Truly annoying, perhaps you could try calling the flagship stores in NYC or Chicago and seeing if someone in the brick and mortar could do you a favor.

I was just going to suggest the same thing as mobiledivide, call the flagship stores if you live close to one of them or ask them to ship you one. Since Lets Talk is their official online seller, they should be willing to help you out. I know if I walked into their store and said I was missing something from the box, they'd just hand it to me...

If you still have the box, maybe you want to double-check on the missing stylus. When I opened my box, I couldn't find my extra stylus either and started getting annoyed. Then I noticed the little ditch above the spot where the tablet was sitting. It's where they pack the headphones, but since I wasn't using them, I didn't bother to take them out. Underneath the headphones was where my extra stylus was sitting, so I'm assuming if you didn't check close enough it might be there.

Two came in my box - bought early Jan.
I would actually love a metal body version with plastic tip of course. It wouldn't be too hard to machine one out of stainless steel but low volume cost would be high. I like the feel of the Palm TX srylus.

I actually prefer the Avery Triple Click to any stylus around. I have RA which affects my hands, among other insignificant body parts, and the fat pen style implement is the perfect solution for me. They cost around $9-$10 at Longs Drug Store.

That said, often I don't have a pen within reach and the standard stylus saves the day. But I find I carry the pen around everywhere as it's a mechanical pencil, gel pen and a nice stylus.

My N810 didn't come with the extra stylus too. I didn't lose the one I get yet, but I'm really concerned that it's not available separately. A substitute stylus that won't fit in the N810 slot is not an option, IMHO.

I'm wondering how could I make one myself...

I'm in the same boat as others here. I lost my n810 stylus a week ago and haven't found any sort of replacement after searching Amazon, EBay, the Nokia n810 accessories page, etc.

Any ideas? If anyone wants to sell me their spare stylus, PM me. Otherwise I may have to buy a new n810, remove the spare stylus, and try to resell everything else on Ebay. Boo! Nokia should really get on the ball and offer replacement styli.
