What version are you using on each device? let's try to reproduce here, if we can do that.. we will fix. Did it worked on beta5? or is it the first version you are using?

Do you have mplayer installed? Do the videos play on the default media player?

Hi Netss,

If you have mplayer then mplayer is playing, the default media player is NEVER touched by canola, or canola cleanup. So something must also be wrong if your device.

I know itá again the boring question, but did you try rebooting?

We did your "sequence" here several times, all videos play fine on mplayer and default media player as planned :/

If you can help us reproduce, we can do it.

If you are able can you upload this video? I can send you a ftp account for you, and I will personally test it.

Marcelo

Zeez : let's do the following.. can you run canola from xterm with -vv and then try to play the video and send to us ?

If everything else fails, we need really to find the a possible bug to fix it.

* Finger navigation no longer works reliably. It kind of works in the small photo thumbnails view, but not anywhere else.

* Metadata extracted from MP3s appears to be truncated (makes "Decemberist" out of "Decemberists" etc) and it looks like some albums just do not get scanned at all.

* Would it be possible to query Gracenote/CDDB/etc and automatically download album art?

Hello handful,

Thank you for the latest release. The problem which i had with the last release .... no songs is now rectified. However the ugly metacrawler is back and it is eating my cpu with no real reason. I tried to play a video file and the it was a slide show. this particluar file when played alone in mplayer is fine but when played in canola it struggles.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

This "eating chars" issue is already fixed and we're just uploading it ATM.

Best Regards, Etrunko
