How long did you leave it plugged in?

Have you tried the freezer trick yet?

Yes, twenty minutes in the fridge seemed to do wonders. I then installed OS2008, gave the battery a good amount of juice as I was simultaneously using the device, and it has been trouble free ever since.

I do have a question for you, however, General Antilles. Is there a way we can set differet programs as the default program for a certain type of file? For example, if I wanted MP3s to open in kmplayer, how could I set it so that it would so automatically?

And do you know of any program that supports .ram files?

Thanks for your help.

Ahh, indeed unfortunate. It gave me an error that stated that it could not locate the clip.

By the way, is the microb browser able to be extended with plugins? Specifically for FULL RealMedia support?

Thanks again, forgive my n00bishness.

There's a decently sized number of plugins available, including an mplayer plugin that may or may not be of use. Search should bring them up.

This issue isn't a hardware issue, it's a software issue. If you had flashed your first unit, it would've worked just fine.
