For the record, I get significantly more than I usually get credit for, and certainly more than you're giving me credit for.

1) the OP (and you!) are looking for all thanked posts from a specific user.

2) There's a link in everybody's profile, titled "Find all thanked posts by <username>"

3) Despite its location or name, the link mentioned in #2 does not satisfy the request in #1.

so, what is it that you think I "don't get" ?

No, we want to see the posts on which WE clicked the thanks button on.

Seemingly, what we're actually looking for.

There seems to be a rather significant amount of confusion around the semantics involved here so, really, who the hell knows.

oh, my turn.

/me sighs.

you still don't get it.

You'd like a way to see a list of posts on which you've clicked "Thanks", and there is an option in the profile that would seem *by it's name* to provide exactly that, but it doesn't -- instead, it provides a list of posts by the user on which other users have clicked "Thanks".

/me shrugs. The name can go both ways.

If you "got" the request, why throw a monkey wrench into the works by bringing up a feature that everybody involved seems to understand doesn't provide the functionality we're looking for?

Instead of just thanking, subscribe to the thread.

Yeah, that's right, but having a 'thanked' bookmark is far more useful when it comes to pieces of code and like. And threads on ITT can be 30-pages long...

Perhaps the same reason that folks have "thanked" your posts in this thread, wherein you didn't actually provide any "helpful" information, and instead used the opportunity to denigrate another member of this forum and flaunt your perceived superiority.

If everyone agrees "you are right", will that keep you from also making sure to get the 'last word' in the thread, as well?

Wow dude, you really, really read me wrong here. :\

You're seeing some horrible, vicious, condescending attitude in my posts that simply isn't there.

I apologize for the misunderstanding, perhaps I should've used a less exasperated and condescending-sounding phrase in my first reply.

/me sighs

It looks like Version 7.2 (01/24/08): of this hack has what we want

> NEW Added option to view all posts a user has thanked.

See here
