I have noticed a major bug in this though. If you keep bringing up the details box, it seems to mess up other things. Like my applet add box once said 9425 instead of Cancel and OMWeather is going a bit odd. Sorry but I have no idea on fixing it.

Hey Q, can this be launched from xterm? I use KDE and can run just about any Maemo app in KDE once I figure out the xterm command. I'm having a hard time figuring this one out the executable isn't in all the usual places.

alas no. This one isn't an executable, it's a plugin (.so file) that only the hildon-desktop can run.

No, it's an .so, for hildon-desktop to load, not a standalone binary.
