(if you do add my name, i'd prefer it on the thanks, IMO, just making a desktop file doesn't make me eligible for the credits)
It's a script I use to repack deb files, it adds modified to the end of the package.
The desktop file, is in the /usr/share/applications/hildon/ in the deb file and the icon is in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/
BTW: You may want to edit the control file to change the package maintainer to you if you upload it on your site.

See the first page, you should be able to find a packaged deb there. Double tap on it within file manager to install or when the dialog comes up to save the file, tell it to open..
