I have found a trick to get even higher volume out (speakers or headphones)
You can't get away with that! What is it?

That size comparison tool is GREAT! To compare sizes of things, I have been known to make full-size cardboard mock-ups. But that tool could save me quite a bit of time. And cardboard!
Now that is hard core... I guess the internets do save the treez.

Heh, guess I did leave you hanging. From a Debian chroot, use some alsa mixer (e.g. alsamixer -c0) to crank the DMA slider up.

Yo can also install aumix (no Debian needed) and raise volume from 93 (default) to 100.

It might be noted that we're looking peripherally into this as something to support with Advance Backlight?
