Final note on this: I just got an email today telling me my order for the N800 had been canceled.
Their website still says "backordered", but the item is permanently out of stock.
What the hell? The N800 hit the market around January 2007, and it's already ceasing to exist?!?!?
I specifically wanted the N800 because of the FM tuner, the full-size SDHC slots, the fact that I don't particularly need GPS or the built-in keyboard, AND the much lower price.
Then again, I'm using a Best Buy gift card, so I can essentially get the N810 for free, even with its higher price.
Has anyone else purchased (or tried to purchase) their N8X0 at Best Buy? How did that work out for you?

It is too bad the N800 is disappearing. I had an N810 and did not like it. I never used the keyboard and the GPS was too slow to be useful, at least for me.
