Just mere curiosity ^^ I also voted in the poll, we just need one more girl to get even with the "others". Also, its fun to find people that share some of your ideas, vegetarianism is very integrated in my lifestyle, so I always ask just in case. Have found a couple of good msn-pals this way.
Oh BTW my name is Elia, eliagp is just my easy to remember nickname for all the registrations. So you can call me that if you feel like it.

Hey and welcome

I'm another male omnivore, I'm sorry :P

Just wanted to mention a couple of things... since you said your tablet filled up with applications quickly, you might want to look into cloning your operating system to your internal memory to give you more space, see this thread: http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=19639

Also... sort of a self-plug but I and another guy mentioned some resources for getting started programming with Python on the tablet, which is by far the easiest language to get started with, here: http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22066

For java... I think Jalimo is a fairly standard implementation of J2SE1.5 so any java docs should apply to that, except for swing libraries. Swing support isn't "official" on the Maemo platform but you can get it by installing gnu-classpath
Oh, the other thing that I should mention is there's no java compiler available for the device, so I usually use the JXXX compiler service. (it's an free online java compiler)

lol, i already cloned the OS a couple of days ago, it was totally and completely full. I was wondering if the internal memory could be wiped to get more virtual memory or general storage space and also to skip the boot menu 'cause i always miss the part where the key has to be pressed and have to start over. I will try to read some of the books posted in the tread maybe i can make a simple app in the future. hopefully.
Thx for the tips!

You can change the default boot-entry, so you don't have to hit the menu. I know you can do this on the tablet, but don't remember exactly how. (You can also do it from flasher-3.0 on a Linux desktop, over USB.)
