Nope...

I had installed grease monkey but uninstalled it a long time ago. I had installed flashblock but uninstalled it about a week ago.

I´ve alreadey reflashed twice (first restored everything (didn't work) then restored everything except the settings, and now I'm installing everything again (seems the servers are a bit slow at garage.maemo))

I'll install Adblock again... later...

I guess the "SSU" v4.2008.36-5 has now turned the tables and this time microB has broken Adblock...

(Just hoping that the Maemo Browser Extras guys are still keeping an eye on the happenings here!)

I really miss having adblock working. Tried css/hosts but misses plenty of flash ads that bring the browser to a crawl. Damn you flash ads, how I hate you.

You could add some rules to the css/hosts files for the specific sites you visit often, or use privoxy (see the wiki).

Use Flashblock to block the flash ads. Or get a better hosts file.

Weird. After flashing to a clean 36-5 image because I couldn't get my rotation-enabled N800 to even recognize the SSU update, Adblock and User Agent Switcher are now installed and working perfectly for me. One thing I've noticed: Adblock's Chrome config page didn't display properly until I changed Microb's View,Encoding setting to Latin. YMMV.

I have not attempted to update adblock via the Components screen yet; considering that's what broke it last time around, let sleeping dogs lie sez I...

Hope this helps someone...
