as to the comment of, "well, whats the point when you already have a UNIX"? Well, we could ask the same question of whats the point of a dinky PalmOS or ZX Spectrum emulator when you already have such a much more powerful device with better graphics anyways. because it's FOSS and we can play and tinker to our hearts desire.
Here I thought the point was to run closed Palm apps, or to run closed or not-readily-portable Spectrum apps. I prefer to do my playing and tinkering with UNIX itself more than with emulations of other hardware that I don't even want to run software for.
But it's no big deal either way, and if you have a copy of AIX, you can always try with pearpc or bochs. (I think someone had bochs working, but it's painfully slow. May not be up-to-date either.) I may not think it's worth messing with, but I'm always glad to look at screenshots of someone else's anguish.
