What I am getting from the different posts is what I suspected and that is a wide difference from one owner to the next.
Since I own 2 N770, 1 N800 and 1 N810 all with different configurations my use/idle time have never been as good as some people are saying.
The Idle time and Run time will say something like 10/7 but this is never what I get. The 7 hours of in use time is never that. Also no matter what I must charge it within 2 days or sometime less.

The odd thing is that the N810 is now outlasting the N800 by more than 1-1/2 days. The N800 have several batteries all of them less than 1 year old. What makes this strange is that I am using the N810 all the time and the N800 very little since I started my n810 adapter project.

Is this normal? I've been seeing different battery performances between chinook and diablo!? When booting to chinook I can get just over 6 hours of usage on one charge, and usage being GPS on with maemo-mapper running/tracking and the screen constantly on as I drive.

But when I boot to diablo, I only notice 5 hours and 20 minutes (give or take about 3 minutes each test) running the exact same scenario as above.

And when the battery is completely full... right off the charger... diablo states 9 days idle, 6 hours use. Where as chinook states 10 days idle, 7 hours use!?

Both OS have the same apps installed, configured exactly the same. Perhaps diablo has something else running that is eating more juice? Does this seem odd to anyone but me? Or am I, or my N810 high?

chinook underclocks the CPU which would result in some power savings.
