lol. Well, I don't think I have to worry about volume. The song I'm using, even at half volume, just about blows you out of the room.

Anyone using aClock, aTimer under GVM?
I really like the display - large green LCD.Very quick to set.
only trouble is that the alarm sometimes fails to sound. Not sure why.

I would love to have something like this native to Maemo.
BTW,
I've followed the flip clock thread but it's not ready for prime time (no pun intended).

my no-alarm-sound problem has gone away.
since my last post i've uninstalled mYtube (for unrelated reason) and did a xterm reboot and now the alarm sound (3 tones or mp3s) all work.

What alarm clocks are people using on the tablet?
Besides flip clock, any with a large digital display?
(see my previous post)

Btw, I apologise if I have wrongly hijacked this thread.

Is it possible to have the alarm set to pull up a specified internet radio station. In other words, is there an alarm program that would allow you to wake up to internet radio or FM radio even?

itrinh, that's been discussed in another thread. I don't have the exact link, but a quick search should find it.

Does anyone has the same problem?
I've got the same problem, neither of the two listed bugs exactly describe my problem.
I go to clock, start to set a alarm. test the sound, it plays once, test another, no play or sound is made..
then when the alarm goes off, no sound too..
I also have a problem losing speaker sound after pluging/unpluging headphones, reboot fixes it untill pluging/unpluging headphones
these problems started after the latest update (5.2008.43.7), coincidence?
I'll log a new bug..

I use the built in alarm every day to wake in the AM. An MP3 of the Gypsy Kings works for me. It's set as a daily recurring alarm. I've editexd the time on ocassion and the alarm has always worked. I haven't used my head phones in ages. Perhaps there is a conflict with another application. Microb has that problem with adblocker and spell checker.

810 with latest update no longer supplies any sound at all when alarm is supposed to sound. All you get is the prompt and then all sounds fail to play. Keyboard clicks screen clicks, nothing.

Works for me. Check your sound preferences.
