Yes, tethering was in those bluetooth changes. And, there's more than a few places that have said that the reason for it wasn't actually stability nor security (of the phone/device connection), but rather issues that T-Mobile brought up with how it might affect their network and their "security".

Release dates set.
October 1st ship date for the Mini and January 1st, 2010 for the 7-inch Max.

would be interesting to know if that mini will be available outside of USA. still, if they sell via amazon, it wont be much of a problem
