didnt apple presemt some ajax stuff so that the pages could behave very similar to a native iphone app back at the original launch?

That's a good point of view. It just "irks" me that they have to put in the manhours to create this an "iPhone" version when it should work just fine otherwise. To me, it would be as crazy as creating a version of the site specifically for Firefox or Opera. However, it is true that we benefit from the optimizations, but wasn't really meant for us.

there is not without reason that people talk about a RDF and a ipod halo...

a shame texas holdem on facebook doesn't work with the tablets otherwise i would be playing while taking notes in class
