It's clear that the speakers are useless in bluetooth mode because N810 doesn't support A2DP. But if speakers work with wire then of course you can claim that they are supported...

I agree, though I suspect the team that put together the web pages for the speakers were simply given a document instructing them to show that, "all Nseries xx and newer are compatible," since A2DP has been supported in all Nseries phones for some time now.

Even Nokia overlooks the tablets quite frequently. In this case it's just a shame the web team didn't.

Then I guess you should just send them back. Case closed.

if you need them to work - right now, plug the wire in and use them.

sure, they are bluetooth, but that does not automatically mean software on both sides will work with it.
there are plenty of bluetooth devices out there that don't work with different combinations of things.

But back to the point, what all happens when you do try to connect them to your tablet? Details are pretty much the key here chief, give us what you got.

thanks for your reply

i connect to the speakers-bluetooth icon lights up then swittches off-after going thru password etc

i open mplayer and try to send music file via bluetooth

it searches then says no device

i download the a2dp deb -no luck

my nokia phone 6233 has no problem so the speakers are good

One more thing: When you use "I" as the nominative singular pronoun it really needs to be capitalized.

no -they must work as advertised

if you do not get the principle

do yourself a favour

go to google and type in "md-7w speakers compatiable "and see how sites come up claiming they are compaiable via wireless

do it -right now
