Instructions on how I connect.

first start bluemaemo on the tablet and select new (open) (I don't remember) connection.

Then open a terminal and type

sudo hidd --connect <type your tablets bluetooth mac address here>

Your tablet will connect and you will be able to use it. Enjoy!

P.S. to find your tablets mac address type

hcitool scan

Now enjoy!!!

What can I try?
BlueMaemo is in the "waiting for connection" screen ?
The correct command is "hidd --connect" and not "hidd -connect".

Thanks.

That worked.

In fact Im writing this from the laptop using the N810 as remote control.

It makes me remember that quote from Arthur C. Clark: 'Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic'.

Thanks again for this magical piece of technology.

Alberto.

Anybody else find that sometimes when you hit a letter key, it types it again and again and again, as if you were holding it down?

The intention is to work like a regular keyboard (repeat key), maybe your are holding it down for a while, or have the repeat rate definition too high (configuration in the pc side).

This is an excellent piece of programming!

One question, though. The "Gamepad" button (second row, third column) doesn't do anything on my installation. SHould it?

Regards
Tim

No, it's for a PS3 profile, not implemented yet.
