Try to boot from the external mmc. This command will do the trick
Code:
flasher-3.0 --set-root-device mmc
You have a mmc card with a bootable partition in it, don't you?
Unless initfs is damaged, it will work, and you'll be able to mount the internal mtd and mmc partitions.
If initfs is damaged, you can reflash only the kernel and initfs, then it'll boot.

Anyone who doesn't have a secondary bootable partition on their NIT is someone who doesn't care about their data. Even more so if that person also doesn't make regular external backups.
