@Mandibela: Great find!

Here's a vid regarding Flash 10.1 on the N900 (and other smartphones).
http://www.allaboutmaemo.com/news/it...n_the_N900.php
It was hinted in the video that there would be optimization to use hardware (rather than software) rendering of video in Flash 10.1 upon release. This would mean that playback of videos (think youtube -- possibly HD) will be flawless IN BROWSER.

Something worth looking into.

}:^)~

On behalf of Joe Average and other bears of little brain, I really liked this video which is a nice clear demo of the main features.

Hmm, it's just a copy and paste job from http://maemo.nokia.com/. Still, if it introduces people to Maemo/N900 and is helpful to them, I guess that's ok.

This is useful for capturing the text on a page (using the camera -- presumably), or a business card, etc. Very neat stuff!

I hope that this software is distilled to a library, as it would be a useful component in many apps.

Feel free to post any other finds that interest you!

Thats a good find. As nymojoak pointed out, it was discussed in the other thread as well. Cool to see it already being in developement. Definetly a download for me.

I posted this in a excitement to the #maesum thread too, but I think this video can take it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw-c8iHZBd4

I'd say, that sure does make me feel warm inside.
