Unfortunately, the built in RSS reader doesn't handle enclosures. I first dealt with this by using Bloglines to aggregate podcasts (aka: mp3 enclosures), but that still doesn't automate the downloading of content to the N770 and thus isn't too helpful if you want to listen to them offline.

I searched the forums and I'm surprised there aren't more posts related to podcasts...perhaps most N770 owners also own iPods?

that's what I use... integrates with my laptop and works in the car.

I've found that a simple My Yahoo page can be configured to subscribe to and stream all of the podcasts that I listen to on a regular basis. Once I figured this out, I stopped using my ipod for podcasts - too much bother to plug the darn thing into my Windoze machine, start iTunes, update, etc.!

Use bashpodder....bashpodder works. Here's what I did to get it to work....

Install wget
Change first line of bashpodder to /bin/sh
config bp.conf like you want
run in a xterm: sh bashpodder.shell

That's it. You could do it in cron too if you want (is cron on the 770 yet??).
