I agree, I didn't get a very positive feel from him.... about anything.

Edit: I was NSRiggall in the chat btw.

General could you elaborate on your battery experiences with the N900 that you brought up in the chat?

This is truly truly brilliant device!. NOKIA have hit it off the park. My N810 is still wont be replaced but I'll buy this as a good backup

Ha that's awesome. Take a well-defined word that has a positive meaning and repurpose it, then rail on device for not meeting your definition. I have no desire to watch the review after hearing of such inanity.

Thanks for saving me from a waste of time.

Very informative videos. However...

I am disappointed in JKK. Being a frequent viewer of his UMPC reviews, I found his views on the N900, and Linux in general, to be surprisingly unsophisticated.

Did you see the face he made when I mentioned open source?

I think Jkk's only smile all evening was at my refernce to keeping n900 in my 'pocket'. Did he not want to be there? (He did mention having family issues)

Chippy was very upbeat and positive, though. The device did just about everything he asked of it: his only reservation was the size being neither one thing nor the other (big for a phone, small for a tablet) It did get a lot of fingerprints - but I think I'd have had sweaty hands with that sort of audience. I'm not too worried - it comes with a cloth.

It's somewhere in the show recording I'm sure. No desire to revisit that arrogant and condescending sneer, however. :\

c'mon guys.. the show was very good. Let JKK have his own views. The N900 will NOT be for everybody but that is good..

Re open. He had a point. I am an enduser and have the "very open" ubuntu but (half of the stuff) some stuff won't work because I am not a programmer myself and I haven't yet figured out how to install some programs. The Linuxians then are very helpful but use the Linux slang which a tech interested enduser won't understand. This is the point I believe jkk wanted to bring across.
