Btw Hedgecore, i emailed the author and paradroid is not doable without extensive simplification.
Actually, Freedroid compiles just fine. Execute it with "freedroid -f" at the terminal (or via a homebuilt Freedroid.desktop file in /usr/share/applications to get it in the menu) and it goes into fullscreen. Of course, getting back OUT of fullscreen is an issue.
There's a thread I made in here on it somewhere. Maybe you can take a look at the source and fiddle with it for easier use?

Cheers ArnimS - for those of us old enough to remember the old classics they are great games (arguably more innovative than 90% of the new fangled stuff stuff on the market today). I'll give Frodo a crack - be great to play these full screen.

I believe there are a few opensource ports (eg boulderdash) and faithful remakes (not open source unfortunately)

Actually another classic would be

* Elite

;-)

Elite does look nice, but the open-source clone of it called Vega Strike uses OpenGL and I don't think OpenGL libs have been ported over yet...if ever.
And it weighs in at a little over 200MB for the Linux release.
If you like Elite - or Starflight - then check out ArnimS's port of Star Control II on his website.
There's also ggelite but this one is also dependant upon OpenGL.
Until someone ports the OpenGL libs - if possible - over to the N770/N800 we're kind of hamstrung on what can be ported over.
You can also take a look at TINE as well.
For Boulderdash take a look at Epiphany. It's SDL-based and looks like it will fit real well on the IT's screen.
I like the way Timewarp looks myself. It's like Star Control but with better ship graphics.
No one's ported xpilot yet?

Hey, the rapidshare is down, could anyone post the tar again so I can download it. I am also a deb packager (to an extent). I could find time to package it.
