Hi,
I have a question and I don't know if this is the right place for it or not.
I noticed that some apps in the repositories have "Non-free licence"
- such as many game emulators - but when I click "Install", it is downloaded normally without any request for buying any money.
So I'm confused, Can I use these apps for free or it is paid apps?

They are free in terms of cost, you don't need to pay anything.
That license means that the source code is not free, ie you can't have the source code and see how the author did the app.

that is too good to be true !!!
do you mean that all apps in this website (maemo.org) are free?
if this is true, then i think that N900 is the best smartphone in terms of free apps availability, right?
