Yes... well, can't help it if Linux's OS' are installed on devices which don't appeal me. Winmo is alright to me, can be annoying but it brings all the experience you need on a day-to-day basis. Unless you have a job which asks for a specific technical service. Waiting for winmo 7.

hope they do a better job with s60v5 version what they are working on
Btw, what processor did you use, while using skyfire 1.5?

If my browsing depends on Skyfire staying in business, I'll never like it. I don't like the cloud for simple stuff

I preferred skyfire over every other browser on my N95 8GB just because it atleast tried to play almost ever sites flash videos. You can talk smack about it and yes it did have its problems but I could watch daily show on hulu.com for about half a year before hulu decided to block it. I think I even watched veoh videos and veoh stuck all of the user files on to my phone from the skyfire browser and that really made me smile, because it operated just like my computer.

That was a big f'n plus in my book which is what they are talking about when they say skyfire takes away "click fear."

I haven't received my N900 yet and so I cannot judge if skyfire is better definitively than the N900 browser but so far seems like N900's browser is better from youtube videos.

Except for flash, which brings up the question I keep asking myself everytime I come to this forum,

Why do you guys not care how long it takes adobe to release current flash version for maemo?

It's like a couple of months delay for Nokia to release the N900 and you start flamethrowing "OMG such bad customer service, this release is so terrible, they need to get their act together or i will leave."

And then Adobe takes their sweet f'n time to release flash 10
and you guys are all kiss kiss we love you, thanks for your 9.4, we are so grateful we got 9.4 in our browser, OMG.

WTF?

That makes no sense to me, that is a double standard. Why cant we just go open source flash, gnash or whatever it is called. I'll put in 20 bucks to fund it.

Aren't open source programmers supposed to get mad when someone closes down the source code that limits major part of functionailty on the OS that they favor?

So why do you guys tolerate this? It makes no sense to me at all. I am not a programmer but I can pitch in some money, and I am very willing too, if it means I can release myself from Adobe's "Nokia phones are low priority" flash releases.
Who will start that monster open source flash project gnash?
And who will pitch in some money for the guys who will spend their time on it?
I will.

Mhm, well there's also an option to get flash on Opera's browser. (flash 9.1)

That's windows mobile.

second question
Where can i suggest apps without getting my thread deleted?
Both paid and free.
Because my last app suggestion thread got deleted.
and who is going to stop pretending that Adobe doesn't have a monopoly on flash and start working on open source flash?

Anyone?.......anyone

You want to stay in flash ki** a** limbo forever?
What will happen when next flash version comes out?
Hmm? You will just wait?

I know it is, since when is it compatible with Linux? =S

But since Opera doesn't have flash, there's a way for those people who have it. It's just not activated by default.

The Flash performance today is outstanding on the N900. Adobe has been pretty open about Flash 10, even demoing it for all to see for the first time on...the N900! So it will be here soon. It has only been a month since the devices have apeared in our hands. Patience is a virtue.

I don't mind Flash not being open source. It will soon be replaced by HTML5 anyway. But if you can get enough cash together and a team capable of doing it, I'd support that. Free is always cool with me.

Disney.com loaded just fine on my N900. I emailed screen captures to the author.
