Im hoping for

1. PPTP/L2TP vpn with user interface - and ability to control VPN based on Access Point (if 3G - default to vpn) if WiFi XYZ - no VPN - if WiFi XXX - enable VPN

2. More wireless power settings. Can we get 30mw and 70mw please. (10mw is great for power saving - but a bit on the low side..)

3. Less keystrokes when moving around. More organised icons

4. Owi Maps with full navigation and landmark sync with Ovi account

5. Flash killer (auto stop flash animations if no user interaction for XX amount of time) - even PC/Macs should have that feature.....

6. Better touch input - support for my fat fingers for zoom :-) Im not putting on fake nails just to do touch screen control..

7. And most important - better MfE - that just drives me crazy...

I hope for portrait mode in messaging conversation. Because it will make the N900 usable like a normal Phone with On screen keyboard. Easier to text with one hand.

You, and others, may want to look in on the "Has anyone from the Maemo team actually responded to any bugs?" thread where much of this discussion has already taken place.

things that nokia had promised, like portrait mode in some parts. and of course the inner working of everything. better code, less quirks, less errors

What do you mean by "Folders"?
If you're looking for folders to store files you can do that with the File Manager. If you're referring to storing apps in Folders that is another thing.

Folders like every other S60 NOKIAS. File manager is not a folder. By the meaning of folder is to organize your apps in certain locations in the "More" when downloading apps everything cramps up together and is a burden to search for the specific one. Of course there are 4 Home Screens but organizing files will help a lot too. Also icons can't be moved except in the Home screens.

I believe he's referring to folder hierarchy in the application menu (or whatever it's called, the place where you launch applications from), not directories in the filesystem.
