What do you mean after "rfcomm bind 2"? Please run each command by hand, and tell which command causes this error.
All the other should be one line that starts with dbus-send

dbus-send --type=method_call --system --dest=com.nokia.icd /com/nokia/icd com.nokia.icd.connect stringrange uint32:0 pppd call gprs

I now get :

dbus-send; Data item "pppd" is badly formed

Thanks in advace

ALSO is should there be another file in in the \ect\ppp\ip-up.d\ directory besides the dns file. I deleted the directory when trying to get ip-up.d file saved as per your original instructions.

The dbus-send command ends with 0. The "pppd call gprs" is the third command you need to run.

I packaged all DUN support in one package. Install it using this install file: http://my.arava.co.il/~matan/770/n90...client.install .

After installing, you need to edit:

/etc/ppp/chat/gprs.chat (probably only the APN needs changing)

/etc/bluetooth/rfcomm.conf change the address to the one of your phone.

I think i found the problem. The file you are trying to have me install will not work because of a missing kernal-modules-ppp with is the first one of the file your instructions had me install. I have tried every way i know how to get them installed but i am having no luck. I have even tried the instructions here :
http://wiki.maemo.org/N900_Bluetooth_DUN_Client

NO luck. Will keep trying but could use a suggestion.

Try downloading this file http://my.arava.co.il/~matan/770/n90...es-ppp.install from the device.

Or simply install this package with dpkg -i:
http://my.arava.co.il/~matan/repo/bi...p1-0_armel.deb

Ok I am so close. After restarting the N900 and installing the ppp modules the long comand at the end of your instructions almost worked. It runs and causes the BT on the blackberry to turn on for a sec but does not connect or turn the BB into a cellural modem. I am thinking i just need to mess around with the gprs file setting.

Try using

pppd call gprs debug logfile /tmp/pppd.log

And see if there is anything useful in /tmp/pppd.log

Does the bluetooth icon in the N900 also turn blue for a short time?

Yes both the Blackberry and the N900 turn on there BT radio for a sec and then it dies. the log was:
Failed to open /dev/rfcomm2: connection refused

I conect the 2 before hand via BT and try to run it, it connects but no through put. Logging this meathode gives me the same results.

I may try running your BT Dun Client when i get home after i play around with the gprs settings and see if that fixes it.
