Just start typing the name of the movie you are interested in to get it to display movies matching the name. You can also go to the menu and change filtering to say 1888-2000 and get the list to display.

No matter what I type, there are no movies showing up. All it says is "No movies"...

I'm getting seriously annoyed with my inability to understand this program. Can someone please teach me ho to add movies to my personal database?

Just downloaded the IMDB database. Then I found that you need to go to the main screen, where you can select your collections. Select IMDB, filter by year - say, 2007 to 2011, then you get a list. Now you start typing on the physical keyboard for the name, find a movie, select it, go to the top of the screen and select "Add to Catalog", choose the Catalog and voilá, you have started to populate your own lists... Hope this helps!

If this is the case, my problem lies in downloading the imdb-list, since I'v tried to do it soooo many times, with no list appearing...

EDIT: I'm now trying again, and when downloading imdb, it gets stucked on "Creating indices..."
