id like to know the difference aswell... cuz i just flashed global and its the same.

after applying the new update on a US aquired global firmware device I now have access to set a region of English (Australia), am assuming this sets up other localisation settings such as date format etc, it also sets default country for new contacts as Australia and i'm guessing is the precursor for Nokia releasing this device into the Australian market

its just a matter of language selections then??

no this is separate to the device language settings of which there are still only two choices, English (UK) and English (USA)
my guess is this probably wont change and it comes down to a choice of where you prefer z's or s's in words and if you like the extra "u" that comes in other words
