I cant change the background either, please help. I downloaded a SINGLE wallpaper and "set as wallpaper" and now it wont change to anything else. Ive tried changing themes and all the wallpapers change except that one. It wont change at all. Ive tried rebooting and everything. I havent modified any themes so I dont see how it can be a .desktop error. any ideas?

Im kind of new with x terminal and couldnt find a simple answer to this...how do you navigate to those hidden folders? i want to delete the files in /home/user/.backgrounds, how do i do that?
