Use "Merge Contacts" (has to be done manually for each contact but only once per plugin) on the new MSN contacts when they show up in the "Contacts" view to... Well... Merge them...

i have a quick question: I have people call me using msn (haze) to the N900, but there aren't any options to call out from my phone, is that a missing feature?

my guess is that that function is not implemented yt, was looking for it as wel, but could not find it. good to know it's possible for incomming calls!
On topic; haze seems to performe ok, no problems so far. and nice implementation as it should!

I dont see any of my contacts if I use the butterfly.. :S

the haze version works ok.. but, why doesn't the default version (telephaty buttetfly 0.7) work?

has anyone got the msn(pecan) working. anything i enter the details and hit save it is supposed to sign me in but it doesnt do anything.

also will haze or any of them support mulitple logins, i like to have my computer signed in but can't as the phone will sign me out of the pc when i use it.

It seems there was nasty bug in msn-pecan so it wasn't really working on the official image. Now it's fixed (0maemo5).

ok i finally installed msn protocol plugin 0.7 and have no big probs, only prob i have is if i sign out then sign in again i cannot start a conversation with any msn contacts, the conversations app just sits there doing nothing when i select send IM, hope it gets fixed soon.

a lot of my friends say that messages are constantly bouncing back.

i am using msn haze, the normal msn doesnt work

Hi I find haze drains my battery life quickly, as in a few hours even when on standby. Anyone else have battery issues when using haze?

whats the difference between the single MSN icon in contacts and the MSN (haze) icon???
i have installed amsn ( then removed as it was too cumbersome and feature rich in a small screen)

then i installed pidgin (but found it set my status as away after 5 mins so people dont message me on it)

then i installed MSN protocol plugin for conversations and contacts (which is great as it integrates into UI and shows me as constantly online)

so anyway a couple of question..

1) if i uninstall pidgin will the UI msn still work ok?

2) why do i have an MSN and MSN (haze) .. when i added contacts as just MSN i couldnt initiate a conversation although contacts could initiate a conversation with me

' is that an actual voice call he is on about as i cant seem to get a friend to do a voice call to my MSN on phone ... he gets a message saying 'Andy (Franklin) is using a version of Messenger that does not have improvements to support a Computer Call. Please ask your contact to upgrade to the latest version of Messenger and try your call again'
