Fair enough, if deleting/re-creating the account dosen't make a difference, but given that people are "crying wolf" by blaming the system, only to post later that their SMTP settings are "empty", all I'm saying is to perform some due diligence before trying to bog down "the system" (Nokia Dev).

GMail, Hotmail, and Verizon POP3 accounts are synching flawlessly, every hour, since I got my phone 2 months ago. I'll set it to 2 hrs for confirmation.

this (sometimes) happens to me too on any time setting, not just 1 or 2 hours, its already a well known bug

i noticed this on mine, when I set it to 2 hours it did not seem to update. I don't use the account much so I thought maybe it was just me not remembering correctly

2-Hour interval working for me, via carrier data, for all (3) POP accounts.

This must be a popular problem. I set OMWeather for 1 hour update, it also can't do it on time.

2 hour poll still working, at 1pm and now at 3pm.

(2) more hours, another successful poll for all (3) email accounts.
