Do these .debs install on an n900 updated to PR 1.2, or do the .debs need to be updated for that?

I'm a beginner at this and am reading Land of Lisp. Is there a general way I can run examples from that book, intended for CLISP, in Clozure? When I try

(defparameter *small* 1)

I get a message saying that there is no source code.

Or should I just continue installing CLISP, as I am doing now (I hope)?

Thanks a lot for your work, man...

I've spent many hours trying to get clisp to compile on the N900, before finding your post. You've made my day...

There's follow up discussion on the list, with alternate patching proposed.

Do you have final patches applied to the clisp source tree, so that I can try these against 2.49 version?

Or are the patches in your first mail to the clisp list final, with no changes made pursuant to the discussion?
