It's simple: The Brainstorm part is not a part of the forum. But they're working on it.

Hmm... could you explain why?

When it doesn't appear from the left, we need it from the right. In my understanding it is very usefull. (mark text at expample)

The quick flick should be proportional to page length. A slow flick should move a consistent amount regardless of page length.

Simple as it is.

The finetuning could be hard to do. But this should work in the whole UI.

The only thing I worry about is that the user can't get a feeling how fast a quick flick will scroll.

But, you're right. It could help.
Would you add it as a solution, please?

I use a lot of long websites. At example: I got here 40 Posts per Page. (so I can see more at the same time without reloading) - But srolling back to the Menu is sometimes really hard.

There is a plugin for Firefox mobile for speed scrolling. It wouldn't work in microb since it is activated by a button on one of the side panes, but it might be worth having a look at it...

In the case Solution #2 is elected.

I like solution 2 as well. It will be much more precise, and you have a general idea of where you are scrolling too; just like on a desktop.

in my opinion solution1 is useless if solution2 is present. The cursor button is really useful especially when accompanied by a status bar that reveals the objects (links) under the cursor.

When the page is long, any page not necessary in Web Browser, I miss the old traditional way to scroll before everyone crying for kinetic scroll.
In Windows Mobile or SybmainV5, the scroll bar works very well for long page. Can't we have both kinetic scroll and scroll bar?

By the way, why there are two solutions, but only one vote?
