well in settings you can specify the time the phone will look for wlans. you can set it from minutes to several hours. what was your setting thelushlife? anyways it seems that once a sevice, e.g. mail for exchange requests an IP-connection, the wlan connects and stays connected. would be nice if it would disconnect after some minutes without traffic.

Yup, I personally had used the Wifi switcher and battery life seems to have improved.
Wow, I'm paying $15 a month for 1GB data plan... is this student price or wat?
