Title = Stream description (does a stream contain a station name + the actual played song?). I never used internet radio on my pc so i can only say what my nokias show me.
When i klick on a stream link in the browser the media player opens and plays the new stream (url is displayed). After klicking on the "media library" icon (on the lower right) you can browse to your added radio stations.
Starting playback from this "media library" shows me a stream description. Your sample stream
http://64.62.194.11:9010/ is displayed as "1.FM - Bay Smooth Jazz Radio 105.9"

...um, use vi to edit the /home/user/.mediaplayer-engine/radiochannels.m3u file.

On my linux box with VLC the name of the station plus the name of the song is displayed (very nice!).
THanks for the info

The typical consumer won't even try that. I've requested the naming/renaming ability be insinuated into the UI.

Editing radiochannels.m3u did help, thank you woz.

One need to restart n800 after updating the file to see changes.
