Android on the N900 is in its earliest stages and somebody who needs a step-by-step guide to install it would be better off avoiding it until the project is closer to finished.

hey guys don't be mean to him. I want Android on my N900 too. I want to show off and switch it when I feel like using it. This way my N900 would be much amazing comparing to their Android device. I can shut them up with Android on my device when they trying to mock me that Android is better lol. I wish our device can run OSX iPhone on it too. Would be really great to have. I can shut the F****up the iPhone users and send them back to hell.

You can get to some of the third party markets out there .. but don't think you're going to find much there beyond what the N900 can already do.
Use SlideME Its an unofficial Android Market, its what cyanogen used back when the google market thing went down. SlideME has pretty much all the the apps in it, other than the Paid apps in the android market, (there's paid apps in the SlideME market, But the developer must put them there)

Its pretty easy to download apps from the official market without the having the market app or any app for that matter, Its all done thru http

THATS FANTASTIC. but could you put up some pre-compiled releases... please.

I think it will help with the "how do i install nitdroid" spam
