The request in https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5793 was moved to maemo.org Brainstorm - if the reporter has created a request in Brainstorm already it should exist in Brainstorm and you can vote for it...

If you want to enable portrait mode in the web browser press this Ctrl-Shift-O

the contact list also has portrait mode for quick scrolling.

If you open the phone application and click on the drop down box at the top of the screen in the middle. It Says Phone There, can't miss it. You will see options to change the orientation of the phone application. you can play with those settings to come up with what works best for you.

here is a good link to some info about learning x terminal. It can be helpful in the future just getting a basic understanding. It was for me anyways

http://linuxcommand.gds.tuwien.ac.at..._the_shell.php

It's not terribly important that you read it now for what you are trying to do but its a good read if you get some free time

I wouldn't waste my time with the mirror app if i were you. UNless you just want a quick exercise in installing and uninstalling apps with the app manager. If you are anything like me it will be off your phone just as quick as you put it on. it is unfinished and doesn't work well at all. there wil be more apps in the future to utilize your secondary camera but for now just be happy the capability is there ya know?

Hope some of this helped
