Does anyone have the IR captures for one of those cheap RC helicopters?
Since they run on IR and we have an IR emitter on our N900s the toy should be easy to control with one of the existing TV control apps.

There are only two controls rotation and throttle, hoping it is not timed pulse based requiring its own simple app with sliders to control the pulse rate.

IR? My TV would not respond to my N900 until I dropped the distance to about 1.5 m. Good look controlling a helicopter.

These only have an IR range of about 3- 4m and only supposed to be used indoors without any sun, they are still pretty cool toys for $15. I tried it outside at night and it would hover bounce in and out of range at a lofty altitude of about 5m, then my kid got scared it would fly off the cliff by our house. I wonder how tough a bluetooth hack would be
