It's not right in that case. Send it back - just checked mine and everything is tickety-boo.

Bit greasy now after the mayonnaise encrusted sandwiches but still functioning.

I dont have the screen problem but I do have the keyboard problem it's not that big of a deal for me. after a while I stoped seeing it ( until someone writes about it ). if you dont think you can ignore the screen proble then return it and get another I wouldnt pay for somthing I dont like.

Interesting...my phone has almost the exact same problems. I try not to push the gap in between the screen and the shiny bezel and the keyboard can be really annoying at times but other than that Im kinda used to it. Figured it was not worth waiting XX days/weeks to send in my n900 in to Nokia for some fitment issues.

lucas, the thing with the plastic below the bottom row of keys being loose is normal. i have 2 N900, both have this defect now (they didn't when I unpacked them, but it started a few weeks afterwards).

i took them to a nokia repair center. they refused to repair it, saying it's normal with the N900 and showed me 2 devices they have on display there. both had exactly the same issue.
