anyway still far better then the build in one :-)

@thundercat600
sounds good, how far are you with the project?
the idea of using a video to wake up is also interesting. if i remember it right there is an app for the iPhone that let you choose between some videos from some woman. nice idea if you have a video from your GF waking you up in the morning, if you are on the road :-)

thats a fabulious idea.

Just working on the framework and app design, hopefully i will try and get something working into the community as soon as possible. I also understand there are other alarm clock apps out there however I have some specific requirements in what I want my alarm clock to do. It is also my first app so I wanted to make something interesting.

Just as a side note, this is being written in c++ using the Qt framework. Ill keep people posted as I reach each milestone.

It will snooze only for 15 minutes. For me that's not enough

I was thinking about letting the user select a default snooze time from a list such as

5 min,
10 min,
15 min,
Custom

Prehaps a number of snooze repeats as well!

Is it possible using the N900 built in alarm to have it play a custom MP3 in it's entirety? I have set it to play my MP3 file but it cuts off after a time and doesn't play it all.

I can't see anywhere where you can increase the duration......anyone got any ideas?

I agree, possibility to increase the alarm duration would be great.
