My n900 also seem to act strange....I installed and was using "My Menu" app, however I came across Catorise and then installed that on my device. Post installation the device got hung as the menu structure got all messed up.....
Now, I cannot see "Application Manager", "File Manager" Backup and many other Icons in my Menu (which is the Original Menu...as I restored the "Original Factory Settings"). In fact the only Icons visible in Menu are:
1. Phone
2. Contacts (My contacts is not visible)
3. E-mail
4. Settings
5. Web
6. Media Player
7. Calender
8. Photos
9. Maps
10. Camera
11. Conversations
12. Clock
13. Calculator
14. Ovi store
None of the icons related to any other app is visible......(I installed a number of those...)
Does anybody has any solution as to How can I get all those Icons back in the Menu.
I am not a power user, hence request you to please elaborate on any "Tech" terminology used in the suggestion/solution......
Thanks
Ak
(P.S- I am using the n900 with latest firmware PR1.2...India edition bought at Nokia store in India in June 2010)
