Alright so I had msn connected via pecan for under 3 hours and I did not use the phone during the period. Check the battery usage......this is why I cannot get through a full day with msn on my N900. I've tried using jabber transports which has better battery usage but I always get disconnected after a while. Oh and this is with nothing else running and only 2G GSM.

The battery on N900 is truly amazing. I unplugged it at midnight had some fun, almost totally drained it in few hours, then it self recharged during night and when I put on a charger it took minutes too charge

I was using Pecan with 2.5G rogers network, then took the printscreen once at home ! when the battery comes to a low charge level, it drops to 0% very faster than when its fully charged...

Hi, I'm the author msn-pecan, and I just found the issue of the latest problems draining the battery.

Apparently, there was a date parsing bug regarding daylight savings mode... if you happen to be in DST, and you happen to receive an offline message, there will be a loop constantly trying to get an authorization.

I just pushed a fix to extras-testing (0.1.0-0maemo3). Please give a try
